Lead activities of Test and Commissioning of the Positive Train Control (PTC) System on New York MTA Railroad. Daily tests coordination on the 1.100km of network makes signaling system (onboard and wayside) deployment both a technical and resource planning challenge. • Develop, Edit & Review field test procedures to ensure full coverage of the technical and FRA (U.S. Railway Authority) requirements • Lead integrated system testing on Pilot Lines with a team of local engineers • Test interface within the Consortium including SIEMENS & WABTEC • Onboard Computer troubleshooting as part of the integrated system and ATC/ATS interface • Optimize the testing allocation time and location [Context ex-BOMBARDIER] The New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority has awarded a contract to a consortium of Siemens Rail Automation and Bombardier Transportation Rail Control Solutions to install Positive Train Control (PTC) on MTA Metro-North Railroad and MTA Long Island Rail Road, the two largest regional/commuter rail systems in the U.S. Working as an ALTEN USA Consultant Show less

Led a team of 6 engineers in multi-cultural projects with multiple requirements for both Rolling Stock and Control-Command Signalling across Greater China.• Received accolades from the highest level of management for leading a complex audit in a high-pressure environment over 6 months, delivering a strong understanding of all regulations and exceeding the client’s requirements. • Clients received its ISA (CBTC - SIL4) Certification on time with high satisfaction and low impact on its process under supervision for EN 50129 qualification - Railway applications, safety related electronic systems for signalling (CBTC Product Family)• Encouraged solution improvements and process changes by identifying opportunities for growth during the audit. • Leveraging a strong multi-cultural understanding of Chinese and European regulation, achieved certification for a major client in China that designed and manufactured the first locomotive for export to Europe (Estonia). As a result, opened new business for the client with the end-user purchasing more equipment following the successful launch of the first locomotive. • Slashed rejection rate from an average 5% to less than .5% in few months by investigating quality issues for multiple export projects, instituting a daily inspection process, and working with the local QA and test engineers to improve the output quality of the production line.• Eliminated delays and improved production chain QA by leading a team of 4 engineers to perform full-time QA inspection at every stage of the production process of subway cars made in Shanghai and exported to Buenos Aires.
