My story today is about a recruiter, Valerie Schiavon, and her excellence in dealing with me as a recruiter for a management job. Anyone can be biased and can write anything about anyone, however when someone is recommended based on facts, the recommendation stands on solid ground and has minimum subjectivity. Valerie is distinguished from others by always making herself available at anytime with urgency, she is highly professional with a touch of compassion, extremely pleasant, prompt and most importantly she always delivers on her promises which is a rarity these days based on the nature of the recruitment profession and the constantly changing requirements of client. Valerie also played the role of an advisor when we were discussing the range of compensation. I could have asked for the maximum allowable compensation within the open book range that Valerie presented to me. Instead I consulted with Valerie and submitted a rate that we both agreed that it will enhance my chances of being selected. Consequently, I was shortlisted to be 1 of 8 initial potential candidates. After my first interview, the shortlist of candidates is now 3 including myself. I have no doubt that her advise helped me in the selection process up until now. In conclusion, Valerie will definitely make a BIG difference on my choice in case I receive more than one offer.
