O.V. stood out from early on as we were building our Expert Buyer team at Common Thread Collective. O.V. stood out because, despite his experience in marketing, he always came to work with a humble attitude and hunger to learn more. He was able to share his experience for the betterment of the team, while also extending a listening ear and thoughtful questions to glean as much knowledge from his peers as possible. Add in the ability to navigate the complexities of client, agency, and buyer relationships and O.V. is truly an ideal team member. He was able to identify wins in ad accounts, scale them, and thoughtfully communicate his wins to the broader buyer team. When it came time to promote people we consistently spoke as a management team about how clear it was that O.V. was ready for the next challenge. He was one of the direct reports that we never worried about. Instead, we were constantly trying to figure out how to challenge O.V. because we clearly saw his potential. In summary, if you're considering hiring O.V. I'd recommend you stop hesitating and bring him to your team. You won't regret having a sharp mind like his on your side.
