I first became acquainted with Professor David Carnicer when I was a student and later worked with him as a professional. In 2014 David designed and organized the first comprehensive international trade course taught at the Ciudad Real Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Under his tutelage, I was able to consolidate my knowledge of planning and international strategy. Subsequently, my relationship with David became professional, as I benefitted from his support, as an external consultant, in the strategic planning of the export consortium, Vinóleo, a pioneer in the olive oil and wine sector in Campo de Calatrava, which I directed in 2015. Since 2020, David's books and other publications on globalization, price policies and strategic alliances have served as a theoretical framework for my doctoral thesis on export survival at the UNED. David is an excellent point of reference for any student of international trade and I would highly recommend him for any organization, of any size or sector, that needs advice on how to advance steadily in the globalization process.
