SQL Database - SQL DATABSECreated two databases for global use in tracking both HR requirements and experimental data from any and all USAID experiments. This database utilizes a custom front end that was produced by myself and allows the end user to run SQL queries from a GUI selection screen. This system also reports monthly and weekly information to the users via email to keep decision makers in the know about their data. Phosphate Decision Support System (PRDSS) - JAVA, JEE/J2EE, SQL DATABASEPRDSS is a decision support tool that helps identify the correct product to apply to different crops to reach the desired yield requirement based on several different factors derived from location, crop, phosphate rock, soil measurements. PRDSS also allows the end user to compare the different products from both an effectiveness scale and economical scale utilizing the calculations to provide a graphical representation of the information. PRDSS was programmed in Java and I developed both a standalone desktop application as well as a live version that utilizes a locally hosted SQL server. Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer (DSSAT) - FORTRANDSSAT and its crop simulation models have been used for many applications ranging from on-farm and precision management to regional assessments of the impact of climate variability and climate change. It has been in use for more than 20 years by researchers, educators, consultants, extension agents, growers, and policy and decision makers in over 100 countries worldwide. I was responsible for fixing bugs and implementing new features to improve the model and maximize the models effectiveness, working with a team of both scientist and programmers from around the world to achieve a stable build.
