The Orangutan Appeal UK is a registered charity based in the south of England, dedicated to the rehabilitation and preservation of orangutans and the conservation of their habitat. - Oversaw the tracking of rehabilitated orangutans within a forest reserve at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre (Sabah, Malaysia)- Managed, trained and provided daily guidance to a tracking team of four research assistants- Collected, input and managed positional and behavioural data of rehabilitated orangutans- Wrote monthly reports on progress of rehabilitation process- Liaised with management, veterinarians, forest rangers and government officials to ensure effective implementation of the project- Initiated amendments to tracking program at the rehabilitation centre- Provided cover for Liaison Officer position: promoting awareness of orangutan conservation and rehabilitation, daily presentations, processing donations, maintenance of accounts, inventory management
