I mainly worked on the Air Quality and Asthma Prevalence Projects, Our Land, Our Education, Our Health (OLEH) summer program planning, and Tribal Voices Environmental Health Lessons programs. My roles as an intern at the Grow 2B Fit Foundation include social media content creator, outreach and fundraising team member and future programming planner. These roles directly reflect the mission of the the non-profit organization by ensuring our target population, children and families in Tucson, live and practice healthy lifestyles and wellness in order to combat childhood obesity. During my internship I created kid friendly fitness videos, weekly health related infographics focusing on nutrition and physical fitness, a map highlighting community resources available to families in South Tucson such as hiking and biking trails, fresh produce markets, gardens, parks and recreational centers.
