Blair Mannix
I have yet to come across one person that doesn't have a list of positive adjectives they would use to describe Michelle. She is one of those people that is universally respected and well liked, not just because she is a thought leader in her space and an incredibly strategic thinker, but because she is genuinely interested and invested in those around her. I myself have had the pleasure of working with her for the last 6 years and look forward to my meetings with her due to her simultaneous detail orientation and big picture thinking (a package that is difficult to come by). She is both a successful manager and a "roll up the sleeves" type employee which is evidenced by the high praise all those she manages give her and the depth of projects she herself and her team produce.

Michelle and I worked together in MBA Career Management for 8 years; at times, we were peers, and in two separate roles, she was my supervisor. In our first few years on the Employer Services team, Michelle’s steady project management skills and patience with systems implementations allowed our group to smoothly transition to new IT platforms and implement diverse recruiting services for companies and MBA students. When Michelle moved into the team director role, she showed great strategic thinking, making sure to incorporate larger institutional goals into our team’s daily actions. Lastly, she’s an outstanding supervisor – anyone who reports into her knows that she has high professional expectations, but we also know that she cares deeply about her team and will support us however she can.
