  Project director of Project Pranada.Leading a team of 40 members, Project Pranada is an Initiative by Enactus MAIMS, to solve the problem of plastic pollution using social entrepreneurship. Currently, It has 3 verticals:-1) A urinal and toilet made completely out of plastic using eco-bricks(which are made by stuffing plastic bottles with single-use plastics) and discarded 20l water dispenser bottles, set up in the areas facing the problem of open defecation and empowering that community towards sanitation and using a business model to provide them the toilet facilities as cheaply as possible.2) We are creating a line of trendy products using the 'Pranada fabric' which is made by cutting strips on single-use plastics which are then woven into cloth by the weavers on handlooms, to empower the declining Handloom industry of India and provide employment. This fabric is then made into trending products (like bags, pouches, etc.) by unemployed skilled tailors, and these products are then sold to generate funds to increase the scale of production. 3) We aim to start a pickup van service to collect plastic waste directly from the houses of people in societies, housing colonies, etc. and this will serve as raw material for the other vertical.
