Dr. Miller is without a doubt one of the strongest, student-focused faculty members I have met in my three years working in Higher Education. She is well respected amongst her peers, and is well-received by the students she teaches. Furthermore, Dr. Miller is very active in the Student Life aspect of Cazenovia College. Dr. Miller is the advisor to the Women's Empowerment Group (WEG). Under her direction this year, the WEG successfully hosted an all-day "Women's Research Symposium", inviting local and campus scholars to speak about their research and passions in the field of Women's Study. I was honored to have been invited to speak at this event, and I was very pleased with the turn-out and level of professionalism by which the WEG and Dr. Miller presented to the campus. Dr. Miller and I have held many academic conversations, and share many of the same research interests. I am honored to call her a colleague and close friend of mine. Her positive impact is felt on the campus of Cazenovia College. I truly look forward to working with her on future academic and student-driven projects.
