Matt was a great partner and led UNICEF’s efforts to develop and launch the PASS initiative, a cause marketing campaign led by Western Union's Brand and Corporate Communications teams. This major sponsorship leveraged the UNICEF global brand alongside that of Western Union to build awareness of the need for greater investment in education. WU worked with UNICEF to help deliver on-the-ground educational support to its various education projects across the globe. Matt’s deep cause-marketing knowledge and consultative approach helped us hone in on a win-win partnership.

I had the pleasure of working with Matthew while he was a key player on the corporate partnerships team at the U.S. Fund for Unicef. Taking over a well-established relationship, had very big shoes to fill -- and he did so admirably. Matthew was knowledgeable, focused, responsive, and cultivated the type of trusting, honest, and transparent relationship that's not always easy to achieve between donor companies and NGO partners. He was able to balance the needs of both organizations, while never letting anyone lose sight of the ultimate beneficiary and true reason we do this work. I'd welcome any opportunity to work with Matthew again!
