I had the pleasure of working with Kathleen in a dual capacity. First, she was retained by and recruited me for Thompson Products and their owner / CEO. During that process she clearly demonstrated a scope of understanding that I have found scarce in the HR world. She was truly and sincerely driven to build a TEAM of professionals with the requisite blend of talent and chemistry necessary to provide leadership to a culture in need of direction. Once I joined the company, I was able to see another side of her, as she worked with operations management to transition a culture mired in the past to one focused on the need to be nimble and customer centric. I highly recommend Kathleen. She is capable, competent and "good people".

I first met Kathy Thomassen from Thomassen Associates while working with Aerovox, Inc in 1998. We had an Affirmative Action Plan that needed updating and Kathy was contracted for the assignment. At the time the company did not have an HRIS system and it was a painstaking task; she did a wonderful job on that project and on every consulting assignment since. Kathy is the consummate HR professional. She is extremely organized, congenial and good-humored. She thoroughly examines the task at hand and presents quality, rock solid solutions. Needless to say, I strongly recommend Kathy Thomassen to any position and/or consulting assignment that require a HR professional with the characteristics of total trustworthiness; as well as excellent people, communications and organizational skills; or to any situation that needs someone who will
