Maria and I have been colleagues for about 5 years, basically since she arrived at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Porto, where we have been sharing experiences as freelancer collaborators and later as PhD students. During our PhD, we have collaborated as a team in some laboratorial works and I must say that Maria quickly became skilled in analytical techniques used in the study of the cellular metabolome, such as gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
