I have worked adjacent to Rob as he has built his career at Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America. As someone that worked in the same department, but on a different team, I was able to observe Rob's growth. Rob excels in program management, volunteer recruitment and engagement and in fundraising. Rob has really embraced fundraising, with his experience ranging from program event fundraising, to personal asks to special event fundraising. I have also worked with Rob on various project, he is a great contributor and highly accountable.

Rob worked for me for three years at the BSA where he proved himself to be an incredibly hard worker, keen strategist and enthusiastic team member. Rob particularly excells at building relationships with stakeholders, in his capacity as a District Executive he led dozens of key volunteer leaders and was beloved by them for his friendliness, down to earth approach, and willingness to find solutions to their problems, no matter how big or small. Rob was somone I trusted to delegate major projects to, giving him lead of one of our fundraising galas & asking him to train other team members on public speaking and campaign strategy. When given a task he always dives in with gusto and sees it through to full completion. In our time together, Rob was eager to ask for skill development as he has a philosophy of always learning and always growing. We spent a great deal of time learning about communication skills, sales strategies, team organization models and conflict resolution, among other topics. I certainly saw him grow immensely as a professional while he was on my team and I'm sure given the opportunity he will contine to hone his skills at whattever endeavor he is focused on. Rob has a particular flair for development, and has experience in grassroots, individual giving campaigns as well as running gala style fundraisers. In an individual giving setting, Rob can quickly and authentically connect with an audience of donors, help them understand what the value proposition and recognition for the campaign is and has the tenacity to close the gifts and follow up with loose ends afterwards. He is exceptionally good at continuing follow-up, a part of development that is all too easy to let fall to the wayside, but he has always been diligent with the followthrough. Rob also had the opportunity to give leadership to a committee driven honoree gala recognizing female business leaders in Queens. Under his leadership the event raised record income and the committee chair and members were always please with their interactions with him. He kept a keen eye on the honorees and often suggested them to be as prospects for board members. Working with Rob was an absolute pleasure and he is an enormous asset to any team he serves.
