Michelle really wowed our learning environment with her team building skills. It could have been an extremely stressful experience, but Michelle deflated the tension. Learning should be relaxing! I am forever grateful for her expertise brought to our classroom, and the knowledge gained to further my career at Mercer. Kudos Michelle!

Michelle McGlone is a training expert who offers a very professional demeanor, hard-working/can-do attitude along with an easily likeable personality. She is willing to tackle any project offered. I admire how Michelle invests evening time to be sure she is totally prepared for the next day of training. She offers a variety of teaching methods and approaches to reach all learning modalities. With her personable training style, Michelle’s sessions are very enjoyable and successful as measured by testing results. Michelle has demonstrated her commitment as a team player by accepting assignments on short notice that include travel over holiday weekends. Every team needs a reliable, productive and committed member like Michelle.

As a content developer, working on a short-term summer contract, I worked with industry experts in particular fields of study. Responsibilities included editing and reviewing testing materials for accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness. I also helped to maintain and update informational references and worked closely with development teams throughout the content generation process on certification exams for school administrators. One of the largest urban high schools in the United States. At one time, it was the largest school east of the Mississippi River with over 5,000 students enrolled. The school is known for its turnaround in academics and has received many accolades for this fact under the leadership of Dr. Susan Szachowicz. It also has a highly competitive fine arts and athletics program. One of the largest urban high schools in the United States. Durham School of the Arts first opened in 1995 and is housed in the former Durham High School building, which opened in 1922 and closed as a traditional high school in 1993. Our campus is expansive, covering three city blocks and includes eight separate buildings. Approximately 1,655 students from all parts of Durham County are enrolled in grades 6 thru 12. All students enroll through a lottery application system since DSA has no specific attendance zone and over 2,000 students apply for open positions yearly. Since both students and staff have elected to be at DSA, we feel it is both an honor and a privilege for all of us to be a part of this learning community. That is one of the reasons that DSA is the most successful school in our district both academically and artistically. Show less
