I had the honor of being Melanie's manager during her time at Common Sense. Melanie is a creative, intelligent, hard worker, and solution-driven professional with many talents and skills, and I know any company/organization would be lucky to have her. From creating social media posts in both English and Spanish for three different channels, compiling metrics and results in an excellent story-telling manner, to creating landing pages and supporting the programming of the organization's text message offering, -among other projects- Melanie always went the extra mile. I was impressed by her new and fresh ideas and by how fast she learned. Her role required multitasking skills and I can say she really was able to manage every deadline with great results! She's reliable, responsible, resourceful, culturally sensitive, and has excellent attention to detail skills. When timely matters came up, I could always count on her problem-solving abilities. Besides all the wonderful professional strengths, Melanie is a wonderful human being, and a really good team player. We were very lucky to have her on our team and I'm sure she has a bright future ahead of her!

Working with Melanie for almost three years was an absolute pleasure. Hardworking, quick learner and creative, I always found Melanie’s work to be beautifully neat, always exceeding the client’s requests. As instructions were handed to the design team, she was always one step ahead in the conversation, which is where one of her most remarkable traits shines the most: her intelligence. Figuring out complicated dies and diagrams for packaging and display projects became her specialty; as it turned out, she was the only one who could design these kinds of diagrams from right from scratch... not an easy feat, yet her brilliance made the process seem effortless. In my many years working alongside and supervising other designers, Melanie really stands out as a valuable person: as a model employee and equally important, as a sound, compassionate human being. Any company should be lucky enough to have someone like her as part of their team, so the bar can be raised from that point on. I wholeheartedly recommend her.
