    • Fifth Third Bank Consulting Challenge
      • Mar 2019 - May 2019

During my freshman year, I along with a team of my peers completed a consulting project with Fifth Third Bank as our client. We were tasked with creating viable solutions to the prompt of "How can Fifth Third be more diverse by 2050?" With a focus on the Hispanic American community, my teams' final "solution" to the issue consisted of three different approaches. Each approach would redevelop the way Fifth Third sought, maintained and rebuilt meaningful relationships with employees, customers, and the general community. We had 4 weeks to build a final presentation and ended up being recognized as a top 8 team amongst 150+ competing teams. Due to our placement, my team and I presented our findings to board members of Fifth Third Bank along with 500+ students and faculty. This experience enhanced the "figure it out" FIO mindset that goes beyond teachable skills. Navigating ambiguity, asking good questions, and being open to failure are all practices that allowed my team to unify and succeed amongst our peers. Show less
