As a board member of the Brooklyn Cares Mentoring Movement and Wellness Case Manager for the Youth Stand United Program of the Brooklyn Community Services, one of my responsibilities is to create a circle of support for the many young people I work with. For several years, David has maintained a consistent presence as part of my circle, not only as an advocate of continued education, but moreover a personal example of self-determination, perseverance, hard work, focus, reciprocity, a positive male role model and leading by example. While I will miss him locally in NYC, obtaining his doctorate will make him available to an even wider audience of influence globally. Continued success David!!
