I worked with Gwillem to extend our activities in entrepreneurship and biomimetics at the Technical University of Munich. Together, we raised awareness for our venture lab’s activities and successfully conducted a student makeathon in Bionics. Our collaboration has been a lot of fun and has led to great results. Gwillem’s contributions were very helpful in ensuring that biomimicry will be one of the topics represented at TUM Venture Labs in the future. Specifically, his support consisted of: - revealing and suppporting a research project that resulted in a biomimetic start-up - devising a hackathon challenge that matched our venture lab’s technical focus and knowhow - connecting us with subject matter experts in biomimetics - serving as jury member for one of our start-up competitions

I engaged Gwillem as a consultant patent liaison to Technolas GmbH in 2018. Gwillem demonstrated a strong technical knowledge of the surgical eyecare field and understands the commercial value of IP in the area. Gwillem used his strong practical knowledge of patent law and practice to make meaningful commercially-minded proposals for securing protection from the Technolas portfolio. Gwillem is a clear communicator and he was always transparent and cost-conscious with his time. I’d have no hesitation in engaging Gwillem again.

Global product management in liaison with local software development and regional sales organisations: requirements management, prioritization/resource allocation, project management of new launches. Rallied internal support for a major new release that was being threatened by low acceptance in the field.
