Ji Min (Katie) Kim
While working alongside Kandace, I've witnessed her unmatched passion for telling stories that accurately and authentically reflect our diverse communities across Northern California. Not only does she treat each story with upmost care, but she ensures her sources, who she refers to as storytelling partners, feel empowered to share their story. She grew swiftly into a full time reporter with great writing skills. Kandace made the newsroom better with her ability to get along with all types of team members, Everyone from the newer people to veteran anchors with high expectations. Her willingness to collaborate and learn made her very popular and eventually very critical to our success.
