If it wasn't for Lauren, I most likely would not have attended TESC. Her diligence, intelligence, knowledge of higher learning requirements, follow-through and kindness made enough of a difference that I pursued admission to TESC. In terms of competitive edge between nursing schools, she is what made the difference for me.

The Wharton MBA Program for Executives has employed Lauren Kirk as a part-time Project Support Manager on our operations team since May 2010. Lauren is an intelligent and motivated individual. She is very capable of managing projects, organizing people and planning events. As Project Support Manager, Lauren professionally and courteously represents the Wharton MBA Program for Executives with all potential applicants, visitors and University of Pennsylvania employees. With her help, the team successfully processes applications containing sensitive information, schedules applicant appointments, and responds to a variety of questions from internal and external constituencies. As part of her responsibilities, Lauren processes hundreds of applications using the Apply Yourself database. She also schedules and manages interview appointments and class visits using Microsoft Outlook. Over the past year, Lauren was a driving force behind the transition from a paper processing system to the online format. She was the point person for questions from all other staff and she coordinated ideas presented by the team. Lauren is always professional, helpful and detail-oriented. She often must keep track of more than 20 appointments at a time and the related paperwork. Lauren’s excellent record-keeping and applicant follow-up skills are a testament to her dedication and organization. Always striving to improve her credentials, Lauren studied the Apply Yourself database and expanded her Microsoft Excel skills. Additionally, Lauren demonstrates creativity and an eye for aesthetics when she updates and maintains the program’s two display cases. The first case displays current articles and publications written by and about our Executive MBA Alumni and Wharton professors, while the second highlights the current students’ recent international trip to São Paulo, Brazil. The boards are both professionally done and eye-catching. I would like to add that Lauren has a very positive attitude, is always open to learning new things and is a pleasure to work with.

Reworked the Student Handbooks so that they are accessible as Google Docs. Students can find individual sections of handbooks or save/print the entire handbook specific to their course type.Manage the section creation process by determining the work for each semester, assigning tasks to outside consultants, initiating contracts, monitoring progress, and processing payments.
