  At Public Affairs, US Embassy Cairo, Egypt, I designed and implemented programs with high degree of initiatives, creativity and enthusiasm in the fields of entrepreneurship, film diplomacy, gender issues, sports, urban development and youth focused programs. I also contributed to the strategic basis of US Embassy’s programming, participate actively in sessions to set priorities, and help improving the cultural section’s ability to implement cultural programs. I took the lead in developing objectives, procedures, timelines and relationships for Public Affairs Office’s grants program. I managed 2016/2019 more than fifty applicants for funding applying a high standard for effectiveness. I worked on expanding youth programs especially in Cairo University reaching out to thousands of students on campus. In addition I built a robust film program starting 2014 that I believe will impact an entire generation of young filmmakers and content creators. Through strong network and connections we had privilege to access to the most talented filmmakers, producers and screenwriters working in the traditional heart of Middle East cinema. Building connections and expanding work network are both important job elements and a passion in itself while dealing with private or public/governmental institutions to build current and future cooperation possibilities and projects to work on.   I worked in this project which was mainly targeting human rights capacity building through training activities provided to different sectors in the society; law enforcement sector, legislative, educational, media, CSOs sectors and others, I was assigned to facilitate the project‘s mission including drafting cooperation protocols between the project and its identified partners, in addition to help preparing the annual training content and calendar for the determined targeted departments, I was also assigned to organize and coordinate the workshops preparations and that included designing training programs/ agendas for all targeted media and CSOs as per the training level that tackle topics related to human rights principles and practices on both national and international levels. Designing assessment criteria for trainees in each workshop to measure the knowledge acquired, and screened evaluation forms of each workshop to be consolidated in the final evaluation report of the workshop and the project. In addition to desk research which included surveying the current issues of interest in the field of human rights, selecting specialized trainers and lecturers to addressed such issues, and proof reading the research papers presented by partners to be filtered before publishing, Proudly, I contributed to prepare first Egypt periodic quarter report 2010 to UN Human Rights Council.
