  • The principal aim of this project was to create a website and install an open source online application for managing work placements. This project was sponsored by SULSA, ETP, RenewNet and MASTS and based at Edinburgh University.• Duties included: analysing the requirements for the project and creating the planner; testing and installation in local host the application using LAMP (Debian, MySql, PHP and Apache) before moving to the webserver; creating the website using Drupal (manipulating CSS, HTML elements and Javascript). • Skill: good communication, creative skills to turn client’s ideas into workable plans, excellent problem solving skills, ability to work with deadlines and ability to work alone and part of a team.
