      For this six-month placement, I used the laboratory facilities at the Conservation and Analysis facility, and analysed finds from English Heritage excavations and properties in order to produce reports for publication. I carried out analyses using optical and polarising microscopes; hand-held and bench-top X-Ray Fluorescence; Scanning Electron Microscope and Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy; and X-Ray Diffraction.
