Achievements include: o Identifying market opportunities by analysing customer needs and developing product strategies such as the development of a new white plastic wiring device range for the social housing segment in Middle East.o Full cradle to grave portfolio management including new product launch, forecasting, pricing and profitability, stock management, setup in SAP system, competitor reviews, analysis of product performance and managing the end of the life of a product. For example for the new decorative collection of wiring devices, I created 1,700 new products and made obsolete 1,200 and liaised with technical, finance, marketing and the factory to successfully implement this new range.o Working in partnership with the technical team to improve the cost effectiveness and performance of products by redesigning them. For example I coordinated a project delivering a saving of £550K by changing the earth pin design and the metal components in plugs.o Championing product management and marketing techniques in particular the NPI (New Product Introduction) process by following each phase gate requirement and applying the adequate marketing tools such as value proposition, price waterfall analysis, marketing launch plan etc...o Developing a unique relationship with the regions by satisfying their unique customer needs, supporting projects, implementing new offerings and engaging the “special” team for exceptional demands. o Playing a key role in the management of products by defining routes to market, manufacturing sites or supplier in line with the companies’ objectives, such as choosing to manufacture the new USB charger in Malaysia instead of Germany to optimise Honeywell manufacturing facilities and cost.
