I worked with Libby on a number of projects since joining Ince just over a year ago. We sat in the same team, I was more senior to her, however, we worked as colleagues together. Libby is exceptionally capable person, nothing seems to flap her, her values and work ethic are outstanding. We worked on several campaigns together, she responded quickly and efficiently to anything she was asked to do, taking forward initiatives within projects herself and seemingly never dropping a ball, ever. Libby would offer suggestions for improvement, is a brilliant copy-editor given her English degree, is creative in her ideas and adds real value to any project she is involved in. I loved working with Libby. I know she will do well on whatever path she decides to take in life and her future career, and I would have zero reservations about recommending her for any suitable role, even one which stretches her current capabilities. I hope to work with Libby again in future.

Libby’s ability to work under pressure and prioritise makes her a great addition to any team. Whilst working for Swindon Borough Council on a number of elections I have witnessed her adaptability and strong work ethic. Libby has been invaluable to the elections office during the busy times of the year.

Alongside my studies at New College, I worked as an Electoral Services Assistant for Swindon Borough Council. On an everyday basis, I answered elector telephone calls and emails and completed data entry tasks on the electoral register and MS Office. In addition, I helped to organise polling stations and the count for local and national elections. During my time at Swindon Borough Council, I learned to work as a part of team under pressure from strict, national deadlines. Since moving to University, I have returned to assist in the office and at the count during Election periods.- I formed a part of the count team that allowed Swindon to be the 3rd constituency to declare their results for the 2015 and 2017 General Elections- I have worked a total of 10 local and national elections, at polling stations, in the Elections office and at the count

During the summer of 2017, I lead a team of 15 15-17 year olds through the four week summer programme for NCS in the Wiltshire area. I provided pastoral care for the group, during residential activities, skills sessions and a social action project. I delivered skills sessions on topics such as employability, voting and equality and diversity, and helped to plan and implement the group's social action project; creating murals for a local care home.
