Alongside my studies at New College, I worked as an Electoral Services Assistant for Swindon Borough Council. On an everyday basis, I answered elector telephone calls and emails and completed data entry tasks on the electoral register and MS Office. In addition, I helped to organise polling stations and the count for local and national elections. During my time at Swindon Borough Council, I learned to work as a part of team under pressure from strict, national deadlines.
