  Joined as a volunteer to support the Sri Lankan Health Ministry by administering the organizational database.-Researched solutions to improve the database by collaborating with medical professionals.-Actively contributed to the expansion and maintenance of IMMR (Health System of Sri Lanka).-Designed and Developed web-based cancer trends analysis system. The system aids in discovering cancer trends by analyzing cancer data from several main data sources. This system is currently used to analyze cancer trends in Sri Lanka. Acted as sole developer in this project with support and guidance from the Ministry of Health Sri Lanka, Science Foundation and Faculty of Medicine. -Designed and Developed web-based survey and user management system for Non-Communicable Diseases Management program. This program collects clinical data from several geographic regions throughout Sri Lanka. Acted as sole developer of this project and worked directly with Ministry of Health Sri Lanka. Also corresponded and coordinated development activities with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).-Awarded for excellency by MOH and JICA.-Appointed as technical advisor for the MOH statistical unit.
