Ryan is about to complete the MSc Renewable Energy Engineering, which I co-ordinate, at University of Aberdeen (completion date October 2018). I have known Ryan since he started this programme about one year ago. Ryan was one of the best students in his class. Our programme covers all the main technologies and feedstocks for renewable energy generation (biomass, wind, marine, hydro, geothermal, solar) and also includes modules on electrical engineering, safety, legislation and economics. Ryan obtained excellent results in all his courses. Ryan is a versatile engineer able to work well in different areas of engineering. Our courses cover topics belonging to many different engineering disciplines (chemical, mechanical, civil and electrical) and Ryan was excellent in all of them. I am sure Ryan has the full potential for a successful career in any areas of renewable energy and I wish him all the best for his career.
