Greg Rutherford, PMP
I had the opportunity to work with Laura as a part of a Global IFS implementation with Waterlogic. She was a tremendous resource both functionally and technically for my US team, and was a conduit of critical information back to our Global Design team. She ramped up very quickly to understand the nuances and challenges of the US business, and was a key partner in the development of a customized CRM solution that fit within Global design specifications and met the needs of the US business. She also provided expertise and guidance on areas outside of her direct scope of work, that allowed for seamless cross-functional collaboration amongst my team. I'd highly recommend Laura for any IFS implementations.

IFS Solution Architect
-
Aug 2015 - Dec 2017
My role here focussed on 2 key areas: 1. Solution Identification and Definition – this involves assessing the needs of each change request received for feasibility, requirements capture, business case production, vendor selection, solution definition and proposition. Implementation of each solution is then handled internally by each business area/company or develops into an IT managed project (see below). 2. Project Design Authority – this involves taking the proposed solution and ensuring that business needs are met in the most efficient way by acting as the design authority during all aspects of the project/programme lifecycle. Current projects include implementing a new ERP system across each company within the group in sequence, and establishing a group-wide approach and implementation plan for GDPR. Key systems used: IFS Applications 9, QlikView, Tableau, ReadSoft AP Automation, AccessPay BACS, ClickLearn; Microsoft applications including System Center Service Manager, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word and Excel; and Cisco applications including Jabber, WebEx and Spark. Kana, formerly Sword Ciboodle, are a leading force in providing bespoke Customer Relationship Management software for the Contact Centre industry. As a Business Analyst I am involved throughout the project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies, to in-depth analysis & design, build, test, implementation and designing/leading train the trainer sessions. I have been very fortunate to also take on the role of Test Manager within several high profile projects gaining experience in creating and implementing test plans, creating and executing test scripts and managing a team of test analysts. As one of the most senior Business Analysts within the company I regularly mentor and lead junior Business Analysts and Developers within each assigned project. Projects are usually based on each client site and so far I have worked alongside Allied Irish Bank (Dublin), Domestic & General Insurance (London), VHI Insurance (Kilkenny), EasyJet (Luton) and Scottish Power Energy Networks (various). Over the past 2.5 years I have worked with Scottish Power Energy Networks to replace their legacy CRM system, integrating with several other applications including SAP SIGOR, SAP Financials, ADQM, SharePoint and TotalView along with a Cisco Telephony Platform. The CRM solution implemented not only stores customer data, but also allows users to generate leads, create and book jobs, receive payment for those jobs and progress those jobs through to completion. All aspects of the system are reportable and communication is sent both internally and externally to support all office functionality via automated workflow, email and letter. All aspects of the business are now available within one interface, from the customer’s initial enquiry into the contact centre, to the successful implementation of the new electrical supply. Business Process Analyst
-
Jan 2007 - Aug 2011
In 2007, I joined SLC as a Customer Service Advisor within their contact centre, I was extremely fortunate to then gain promotion to the role of Business Process Analyst in May 2008. As a Business Process Analyst I worked within the company’s enterprise architecture to capture and document current business processes to use as a driver for change. As part of the Change Management team I would then analyse those process to identify areas for improvement. I then facilitated workshops with various business representatives to gather requirements, design and gain consensus for future business processes. I would then document those processes and feed this back into the overall enterprise architecture. Due to redundancy/restructuring I then moved into the role of Team Leader in August 2009. I took the decision to leave SLC in September 2011 in order to further my career as a Business Analyst. Show less
