I am a member of the Armed Forces Rally Team's (AFRT) service crew which prepares, maintains, repairs and ensures all seven Land Rover Defender Wolf rally cars are clean and race ready prior to any rally event.I have attended numerous rally events during my time with the AFRT, some of which include;- North West Stages - Blackpool, UK- Somerset Stages - Minehead, UK- Pirelli International Rally - Carlisle, UK- RSAC Scottish Rally - Dumfries, ScotlandThis also involved being service crew ensuring both drivers and co-drivers are coordinated and satisfied with the vehicle for the duration of the rally. This includes tyre and wheel changes, re-fuelling the vehicles when required, fault finding and rectification, repairs to damaged components and body work, visual and physical inspections of steering and suspension components during every service period. Inspections of tyre and breaking conditions are also inspected during every service period. When possible sponsors logos, license plates and all lights are cleaned to ensure all vehicles are legal and road worthy whilst continuously promoting the sponsors. Show less
