  I oversee the user research and design for the marketing site, webapp and mobile app. I write discussion guides and conduct user interview sessions, surveys and work closely with the Customer Experience team to gain customer insights and to find opportunities. I work closely with development team and the head of product to help write user stories, write design specs and conduct QA. We have rebranded our entire web and mobile app from Home Care Heroes to Like Family, which involved starting a design system, reskinning the user interface and making small design improvements

  I was the designer for the Australian Koala website (au.koala.com) and focused on increasing the conversion and cross sell rates and introducing new products. I introduced and led the UX research by writing and conducting user interviews and user testing sessions, and iterated on prototypes. Developed Koala's current visual brand for the Australian website to improve the experience through a modular, mobile friendly system allowing for less retouching and more lifestyle photography. Worked with the Customer Service team to improve the experience and to reduce inbound calls by introducing fortnightly meetings and tackling common problems people call about.
