Victor is one of the very bright and motivated students I have had the privilege to work with during his time as a Psychology student at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. His contributions to my lectures and other meetings were always well-informed, animated, and respectful towards others. His Master's thesis project showed him to be conceptually strong, and more than able to reflect on his work and on research in general. He has considerable academic potential, and I am highly confident that he will do exceptionally well wherever he will decide to pursue a career.

I met Victor as finalist of our CEO1M program at the Adecco Group Netherlands. He impressed us, the Board of Directors with his intelligence, personality, his background, drive and commitment to the program. As a winner and champion when facing adversity, I foresee a bright future for Victor in the field of his choosing and hope our paths will cross again.

Working to empower your every food moment, I: - Led discovery & product strategy development. - Worked with Agile methods and OKRs. - Interfaced between the stakeholders, users, management, and the development team. - Translated user and stakeholder needs, hopes, and dreams into stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. - Managed the backlog and prioritized items to deliver optimal value (in the face of ever-present time and resource constraints). - Supported Company-wide vision & strategy. Achievements: - High level of maintained stakeholder satisfaction & engagement. - Mapped out a 3 year product vision with quarterly roadmaps and OKRs - Guided the product towards being fully decoupled, and having a microservice-based, and event-driven architecture. - led deployment of several features with recurring cost-savings in the early six figures annually.

Over the several years that the University of Twente had been supportive of the formation of international student associations, there had not been an association for African students, until I came to the University of Twente. Within my one year Masters program, I founded this association and was elected to be its first President. These involved various acts ranging from preparing official documents such as Articles of Association and Policies, to stakeholder engagement, and event planning and execution. I did not accomplish this alone and I am grateful to all those who contributed. I am proud of what we've achieved, but more so for what I envision this association being capable of achieving.

Having undertaken and passed several challenges, I became 1 of 10 finalists out of the over 4,000 candidates that begun the competition. Although I was not named the final winner, being a part of the competition, and coming so far, has immensely helped me to rediscover my strong points, and to strengthen my weak points. Aside from the personal development experience I gained, as 1 of 10 finalists I was mentored by two of the Adecco Group's directors for a week, and attended a leadership masterclass hosted by their Lee Hecht Harrison brand, and I also got a kick-a** hoodie.

UniTe is the umbrella association wherein all world associations (international students associations) in the University of Twente fall under and is responsible for assisting these associations and facilitating their growth and goal achievements. I ; - Collected student opinion and experiences via surveys and interviews, and created stories. - Collaborated with university administration to propose new policies and improve existing policies. - Improved multicultural sensitivity and collaboration among international and Dutch students. - Managed the PPIE and ACSSEE accounts and increased their participation in University management. - Secured the first partnership deal between UniTe and an external company (Starter Kit).

The main goal of the WorldRide committee is to promote internationalization and cultural awareness among students. We organize accessible and recognizable activities where students of any nationality (domestic and foreign) can participate in order to gain new cultural insights, learn new skills or just get new friends. I (with the help of a wonderful international team); - Managed all processes from brainstorms for multicultural event ideation, to planning and execution. - Managed and monitored allocation and use of resources, and ensured overall budget integrity. - Provided quarterly updates and reports to stakeholders. Motto: How can we change the world, if we have not seen it?

    • President & Editor in Chief (The 411)
      • Apr 2015 - Jan 2018

Considering the focus of my University on showcasing its diverse qualities and attracting more students, I re-started up the Press club and founded The 411 magazine (published weekly by the club). This involved managing the resources of the press club (human and otherwise), enlisting the support of the school management in executing our proposed projects, campaigns, & events, implementing practices to promote club efficiency and cohesion. We overcame several challenges and gradually incorporated B2B in The 411 which was initially only B2C.

This involved choosing, researching, and critically discussing a psychological topic (each week) that an average resident of Ibadan could relate to. I would occasionally invite practicing psychologists and other professionals as guests to the program, and take questions from call-in audience. Overtime I was able to build a large following on and off campus.
