Dan is an inspirational and highly effective digital leader. He is respected by client servicing, creative and technical teams alike, and brings cutting edge strategic direction to everything he touches. He just can't help being a Villa fan!

I have worked with Dan at two different companies working on different brands. He is a hard working person that goes many extra miles for his clients. He single handedly developed the Lucozade relationship into Fuse's biggest client. He is extremely knowledgeable on the world of online and all things digital. He is also a great strategic thinker and able to navigate the complex landscape of online to come up with great inspiring ideas for clients. I would go as far to say that he is a digital evangelist. Dan is also good at being able to confront customer's challenges in a collaborative way and make them understand how to overcome them. I enjoyed every moment I worked with Dan. I have a lot of respect for his knowledge and abilities, and admire his fearless and professional way of working with people.

I’ve been in the Marketing and Advertising industry for over 20 years, I’m currently with Cogent where I’m the Strategy Director. Over the last 20 years I have won, led and developed accounts and strategies for household names such as Jaguar, Lucozade, Miele, Maplin, JCB, Denplan and Pirelli. I have now been with Cogent for 5 years, I head up the strategy team, where we champion all things customer and lead on brand strategy, account planning, channel strategy and insight. I also manage our research and media partnerships with a particular interest in behavioural science. We’re a part of a collection of talented individuals, who truly create and deliver awe-inspiring work. What makes us different? We create beliefBeliefs are the guiding principles that provide direction and guide our behaviour. In order to act on something, we need to believe it. To change behaviourThe fundamental objective of marketing is to affect the behaviour of your audience in a way that’s good for your brand. Change the belief, change the behaviour Through a cogent narrativeAs humans, we’re hardwired to seek patterns and meaning to make sense of the world around us. In other words, we’re instinctively drawn to narratives. And in order for a narrative to be believable, it must be cogent – clear, persuasive and rooted in evidence. This is what a few of our clients have said about us: Joanne Davies, Princess"Our experience with Cogent has been nothing but positive. We engaged them initially to help us create and develop a new brand, but have since given them the vast majority of our creative work. They have a great team throughout. I couldn't recommend them highly enough." Rosie Harper, Marston's"Our extended work family" As we move into 2021 we hope Covid-19 eases and again we operate our open door policy, we love meeting new people, however. If you have a project you’d like to discuss we’re always happy to jump on a Zoom call.

Moved from a client services role with primary responsibility for managing the agencies GSK portfolio, to a planning role where I worked and advised on digital strategy across the whole of the agency client base, as well as for clients of our sister agency at Big Communications.

Working alongside Jaguar’s Global CRM managers I led the development and implementation of JLR’s first ever digital contact strategy. During my tenure I also managed the launch and localisation of the new X-TYPE & S-TYPE sites across 17 countries and in 14 languages. Both sites were rolled out globally within aggressive 6 month deployment periods. On a day to day basis I was the account lead for all markets, outside of the UK and US.
