She has a very personal way of working, I always felt that I had someone who was interested in me as a human being. During the program, she called me and we met to talk about my progress and expectations. It was clear that she wanted the success of the Mentorship Program, but especially mine. It was just a pleasure dealing with her.

As part of the Transforming Local Infrastructure funding, I designed, launched, and managed the BeConnected volunteer cohort program which focused on short term and one-off volunteering opportunities to meet the needs of volunteers and community organizations. I worked with organizations to think outside the box on how they could engage volunteers for short term or specialized roles.I supported and managed a group of volunteers who had not been able to be a volunteer due to busy schedules but could participate in community work whenever they are available.
