Lara and I met for the first time in BCN in 1998 in the University, we've had professional contacts over the years, kept our relationship afterwards, and so I could follow very closely her professional evolution in these last 20 years. I have been always very impressed by her career motivation and her energy (trying also to recruit her for management roles several times over these years....but she loves Engineering!). She has always excelled as a focused and skilled vocational civil engineer with a very strong management and commercial drive, dimensions I think she combines with an (infrequent) balance and quality. Open minded and intense worker, she is an excellent international profile with lots of ambition and energy. Wish her the best.
