The lessons I learned from Professor Williams, inside and outside of the classroom, genuinely shaped the person I am today. I acquired the skills necessary to be successful in media from taking her classes and her personal interest in my future helped give me the resources and confidence I needed to find an internship and job in my field…before I even obtained my degree! Professor Williams is a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend. I am beyond grateful to have her in my life and Olivet College is extremely lucky to have her as a member of their faculty.

As with any volunteer organization, membership often leads to fuller involvement. For me, it meant helping take and distribute minutes for this community group. I have plenty of support from the executive board, and the area businesses, organizations and citizens who are full supporters of the Chamber's work to promote, support, encourage and shop local businesses. We meet the first Tuesday of most months at different locations around the city. The website is www.olivetchamber.org As with any volunteer organization, membership often leads to fuller involvement.
