Performed the following from September 2021 to July 2022 for the Adult Inpatient Program: ·Conduct comprehensive initial nutrition assessments and create individualized treatment plans for patients with eating disorders. ·Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling sessions for patients, supporting them in repairing their relationships with food and their bodies. ·Provide individualized patient-centered care through assessing, guiding, and challenging patients based on their specific needs. ·Monitor patient vital signs, weekly lab reports, and physical presentations, incorporating nutrition interventions, as needed. ·Facilitate daily meals/snacks, weekly exposure snacks/meals, as well as weekly therapeutic nutrition groups focusing on topics such as body acceptance, diet culture, and social media. ·Utilize motivational interviewing, ACT, DBT, and CBT techniques and modalities to aid in achieving cognitive and behavioral change for patients. ·Collaborate and communicate with other RDs, therapists, MDs, psychiatrist, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive treatment to all patients, as well as provide training and guidance for new staff and dietary aide. ·Participate in weekly RD supervision and bi-weekly group RD supervision meetings. *After July 2022, continued contract as a PRN role, assisting with virtual programs.
