What can I say about Laure? Laure, as part of JPdL, welcomed me with open arms into this fantastic industry. She did not see just a CV and whether or not it "fit" in traditional senses, but looked at the whole person and what could be. This is the mentality that Laure brings to all she does. Working with Laure is like having a teacher, an aunt, a trainer, and a mentor all wrapped up in one little package. She is one to always provide a well thought out opinion and does not step away from challenges. She supports and builds her team to try and ensure the best is brought out of each person. Her heart is present in all she does. After our 3 hour chat during my interview (we could have continued, but it got dark outside...), I still wasn't truly, truly sure what I was getting myself into, but knowing that I would be learning alongside her, I knew it would all work out. I made the leap and was so glad to be under her guiding wing.
