Jeff Abbott
I always say that it is great fun to work with smart people and working with Jeff was really a great pleasure. As Program Manager, Jeff was responsible for interacting with the clients, clearly identifying a market for new products, and coming back to the development team with a document that translated his findings into hard requirements for our software application called 360 Resource Manager. This was Jeff’s foremost talent which he performed in spades. Jeff has always been able to explain exactly what he needs and able to give feedback immediately so that we were always able to stay on track. It was nice working for Jeff also because we weren’t chasing moving targets. We’d define the work upfront and stick with the project until it was done. Jeff was also able to work well under compressed schedules like the time we had to develop a reporting tool for customers. We developed a solution with his assistance within a two month time-frame. Always keeping a cool head, we were able to negotiate a reasonable amount of work in those compressed release schedules. Jeff and I worked together for over 4 years at Serials Solutions. He is just an all around good guy and has always been fun to work with. I do hope that work paths cross again.

In addition he would travel to meet clients to ensure scope of future software development was in line with market need and expectation. Jeff had a clear vision for where he wanted to develop a product within a marketplace that he clearly understands.
