Bio
Matt Fowler
Mete has been a lead developer on my team for over ten years. Today is my last day managing him directly so I am taking a moment to write a couple of paragraphs to describe Mete's contribution to our work. Throughout our time together, Mete has grown steadily as a leader, as a developer, and as a person through three acquisitions and multiple projects and team members. Today, a decade later, I rely on Mete for his coding ability of course, but also for his leadership, his judgment, and his friendship. Leadership people talk about the value of persistence. I once asked the CEO of a billion-dollar global media giant the secret to his success and he named that quality as his. He said he was not smart enough to know that stopping made more sense, so, he kept at it, and eventually, the barriers fell away. Mete and I were engaged in a project for years, one we maybe should have dropped in favor of smaller, more accomplishable goals. But we didn't do that, we kept at it. Mete kept at it, turning down better jobs so he could get to the finish line. So we could get to the finish line. He did not have to do that. It was not the best thing for him financially, but that's what he did. He stayed, he pushed through, and, as a result, the product was successful and that success enabled the sale of the company. On a personal note: I will always remember and appreciate Mete's authenticity and earnest care for the team. His technical abilities are peerless, obviously, and we could not have succeeded without that skill, but it is Mete's commitment and persistence that will always stick with me.

I had the privilege of working with Mete for 3 years at Solid Earth Inc. He is a results oriented developer with strong problem solving abilities. His technical expertise was critical to the development and sustaining of the Spring Real Estate Technology. He would be an asset to any development team.
