Tadashi and I have been colleagues at IPU New Zealand for two years. I have interacted with him both as a fellow-lecturer as well as in communication about research endeavours. I know him to be very engaged in the New Zealand academic community in the International Relations discipline, both locally and nationally. He is also broadening his research expertise, publications and contacts further afield globally. He utilises his involvement in this local and worldwide community not only for his own gain, but also to open opportunities and integrate his students into the international relations discipline and community. Taking his passion for his discipline, research and interaction with students, he thrives on taking risks in creating new courses, curriculum, and activities to help his students become engaged in their learning as well as their career prospects. As a colleague, I have also enjoyed and benefited from sharing and exchanging ideas on teaching and reaching students, even with our coming from different disciplines, experiences and perspectives. I know he will make an excellent addition to any future academic community of which he becomes a part.

I was fortunate to study two papers offered by Dr.Tadashi during my post graduate studies at IPU New Zealand Tertiary institute namely,"War and peace" and "Social conflicts in modern Japan". He was a creative and charismatic lecturer with excellent classroom management skills. He went out of his way to elicit feedback from his students, inviting them to share their experience at the end of every term as he is a committed lecturer to continuous growth and as he always wishes his student's well-being.This humble quality made him more outstanding along with his thorough knowledge and experience in the field of Political Science especially in peacekeeping and peacebuilding, terrorism, humanitarian intervention and state sovereignty. He is one of the best lecturers I have met as he always encourages students to come up with their ideas, suggestions which made students think more analytical and creative. He has my highest recommendation and look forward to seeing more highlights in his professional life!
