      Principal Chemist • Led polymer synthesis project for water based drilling fluids. Synthesized high temperature tolerant polymer for water-based drilling fluids and brine-based drill-in fluids. Innovative new polymer functions as viscosifier and fluid loss control agent and thermally stable at 400°F for 72 hours. • Developed clay free high temperature high pressure water-based drilling fluids. Unlike traditional water-based drilling fluids, new drilling fluids have very consistent PV and YP throughout circulation. • Developed high temperature brine-based reservoir drilling fluids and completion fluids based on newly synthesized polymer. Very broad density range achieved using different brines. • Developed low ECD oil-based drilling fluid with 325 mesh barite, much lower cost versus low ECD fluids with micronized barite.
