  As the lead engineer, I was tasked with building a reliable and super scalable system to handle bursts of sales coming in. I designed the system architecture with a team of dedicated developers using Symfony 2 and 4 on Top of an LNMP stack. For Scalability, AWS was used. At peak, the system was able to handle around 1 million sales within a calendar month with visitors peeking as far as 500K users visiting the site at a single moment.   As the project lead my responsibility was to plan, define and manage a network of transportation-specific technology. It focused on the ability to connect Everyday users to a centralized system where they can maintain either one-off trips or daily commute with a specific provider or more. The core was the system was built on Symfony 2 framework on top of an LNMP Stack. Initial mobile apps were made on Ionic Hybrid Framework, later switched to React Native.
