From 2009 to 2013 Pathways to Education Canada: - launched operations or expansion efforts in 12 new communities in 5 new provinces; - secured over $130 million in new funding from public and private sources; - repositioned the organization as a national leader in dropout prevention and become the leading champion for making Canada a 'Graduation Nation'; - intensified program research and evaluation efforts to better inform practitioners and policy-makers on how best to improve education outcomes for at-risk youth; - opened a Quebec regional office to drive significant growth in this province; - received the prestigious WISE Award at the 2013 World Innovation Summit for Education for innovative and effective work in helping youth in low-income communities overcome barriers to education.
