I was chosen as Ford Motor Company’s Project Manager for their Senior Design team during my last year of university. Over the course of two semesters I lead five other engineering students. The project details can be seen in my portfolio which is included in my resume. As project manager I was responsible for the planning, design, execution, oversight, and overall success of the project. My main client from Ford was very pleased with my work and is on this resume as a reference, as well as my senior design director.

This was an internship where we built a small business from the ground up. We began with cold-call marketing, progressed to cost estimates, then to screening and hiring a team to participate in our procured work, and finally managing the team during our completion of said work. This is well-known as a difficult business internship, starting with roughly 110 managers, by the end of the summer less than a dozen remained, and I am happy to say I was one that stuck through until the end.
