Phil and I started out our careers together at Allen-Bradley many years ago. During those years we were given a tremendous opportunity to learn every aspect of manufacturing and industrial automation. As a peer in the Management Training Program, we spent quite a bit of time together. And while I can focus on what we accomplished, I think it is more important to focus on what always impressed me most... Phil's uplifting attitude. Phil always approached new experiences with enthusiasm and a positive outlook. We used to joke about a sign that was on the wall at work "Attitude is Everything." It seemed corny at the time. Now, many years later, I have come to understand that sign and respect it's simple message. Phil has always had a great attitude and that says something wonderful about a person.
