  The Greenville Civil Air Patrol is a part of the United States Civil Air Patrol which is an auxiliary volunteer branch of the United States Air Force. As a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol I participated in leadership and discipline exercises such as drill and Physical Fitness testing. Also during my time with the Civil Air Patrol I had the opportunity to participate in many safety briefings regarding topics such as severe weather, airplane safety, and first aid. As a member of the civil Air Patrol I also had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer at many airport events such as the Southeast Aviation expo where we performed safety and security patrols at the event.
