  Highlights – Complicated experiences: • Was part of Anesthesia team where an 18 year old young male undergoing external hemipelvectomy ,18 litre blood loss requiring use of Rapid blood transfusion pump • First assistant for 66 year old diabetic,hypertensive lady undergoing retroperitoneal IVC sarcoma excision without Cardio-pulmonary Bypass machine. Daily tasks – Emergency Duty: A normal emergency duty day for 24 hour starts at 08:00 hrs includes surgeries like intestinal obstruction, peritoneal perforations, transport of critically ill patient, major blood loss, etc. Frequency – One Emergency duty per week Daily tasks – ICU Duty: A normal ICU duty day for 12 hour starts at 08:30 hrs includes assisting DM candidates for management of critically ill patients, performing central venous catheterization, arterial cannulation, bedside ultrasonographic screening for presence of DVT, screening 2 D echo. Frequency – One ICU duty per two weeks and continuous one month posting for every 12 months. Show less
