As Instructor and Interpreter, I instructed more than 40 students in Sign Language on foreign languages. Served as Chairman of Operating Committee for local religious center and directed maintenance and operational training. Presented more than 500 lectures in the Southern US. Supported creation of 3 ASL Bible educational videos. Completed freelance interpretation services for medical, political, educational, and social industries. Created Ally Interpreting, LLC to provide Spanish and Sign Language interpretation to clients. Merged Ally with Interpretek in Jacksonville. Matched clients with interpreters. Trained, mentored, and guided interpreters. Assisted and supported various aspects of operations and functions when necessary. Interpreted and communicated with clients in friendly and professional manner. Selected Contributions: Grew Ally Interpreting, LLC by 200% annually before merging with Interpretek. Developed community initiatives and programs to raise the quality of pay for interpreters of the deaf community.
