      Key skills achieved: Communication skills- since working in hospitality/catering sector one must interact with customers on a daily basis I was able to improve my spoken English, make the guests feel welcome and establish a relationship while still remaining courteous. People management skills- due to the fact that I was working in this position for quite some time I do take initiative when a team leader of supervisor is not available. Team-work skills- working in this position I have understood the importance of team-work, especially during peak times. You just cannot do it on your own, therefore delegating work and helping out other members of staff is crucial not only to the service quality, but also to the mentality of the team. Ability to work unsupervised- the work was very diverse in this position during peak times team-work was crucial, but during the slower periods it was more about working individually and motivating yourself to do as much as possible. Time management skills- working in busy environment I was able to prioritise my tasks from the most pressing to the least, for that reason the tasks would always be carried out in a timely manner. Flexibility- this position required a lot of versatility; from working early in the morning to working late at night.
